What's New

June 25, 2009"Who At My Door Is Standing" is uploaded. Try it out and see what you think.
June 24, 2009To the right, you will find the liner notes for the new CD. Now, we will finish the artwork to incorporate the new notes. Then, we send a master CD to the publishers. They will send us a proof CD. If it is good, we will be ready to release it. Wow!
June 23, 2009Well, it's been a long time since we sent off for permission to use the lyrics for "Saved by Grace" in the liner notes. We don't even know if the post office box where we sent the request is good, if Mr. Clark has checked his mail, or if he is even well. I think we will rewrite liner notes to save time. It is very good the way it is, but we cant' tell what has happened to Mr. Clark. Without the copyrighted lyrics, we can post the liner notes here for those who might be interested.
June 20, 2009We are waiting to hear from Tommy Clark for permission to use the lyrics for "Saved by Grace" in the liner notes. While waiting, we are going to start recording again. We are starting with the beautiful hymn, "Who At My Door Is Standing" by Mary B. C. Slade.
May 21, 2009It's been a long time since we had an update. We've been working on the CD. All of the artwork is done, the copyrights are all gotten, except for permission for Saved by Grace lyrics in the CD liner. It should be a several week wait for that, then we send the master CD to the publisher. When they get that, they send a proof CD which if it's good, is the last step. Then we order some for any at our church that want some and start the process over on the next CD.
February 15, 2009Work has stopped on recording songs while we get the new album ready. The name of the album is, "Saved by Grace." The music is done, but we need to create the artwork, write the inscription, get the copyrights, and send it all to the manufacturer. What a deal!

January 31, 2009

Made a few adjustments on "Saved by Grace." It's done. It's also copyrighted, so I can't put it on the web site.

January 27,2009

"Saved by Grace" is finished and sent out to those who will tell us how it sounds on their stereos, CD players, and such. When we hear back, we will make adjustments and call it done.
December 23, 2008Works begins on "Saved by Grace." "He was a good man; He loved his wife, All in all he lived a quiet and decent life. He helped his neighbor; He raised his kids. But trusting Jesus is one thing he never did."

Liner Notes for the CD, "Saved by Grace"

Many a person has lived his whole life thinking he would go to Heaven because he was a good person. But that is not what God says. The Bible says "We are as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;" That it's "Not by works of righteousness which we have done," "For by grace are ye saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves. You see, you may be as good as you can be, but what about that sin in your past? It has to be dealt with. The Bible says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." It says that "All liars shall have their part in the lake of fire which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." And, "There is none righteous, no not one."

The Bible teaches to pay the debt for your own sins is to die eternally in Hell. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." So what can you do? If you believe God and His Word, you must also believe that you (and I) are sinners, deserving of Hell. If you believe you aren't all that bad, you must throw out a good portion of the Bible and call God a liar! Impossible!

But Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a perfect, sinless life, and died that horrible death on the cross. To pay for His sins? No! To pay for your sins, if you will let Him. The Bible says, "For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

So, how can we go to Heaven?

--"For there is none other name, under Heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved." -- Jesus Christ.
--"I am the way the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." -- Jesus Christ.
-- "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." -- Jesus Christ.
-- "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -- Jesus Christ

Friend, "with the heart man believeth unto righteousness."

So I ask you; what do you believe?

-- Do you believe that at some time in your life, you have sinned, just as the Bible says? And if you are honest with yourself, as I had to be, you would find many, many areas and times in your life when you would have to admit you were sinful.
-- Do you believe that, as a sinner, you are doomed to spend an eternity paying your sin-debt in Hell? The Bible is clear. "The wages of sin is death," "It is appointed unto man once to die and after that, the judgment." "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
-- Do you believe you should do whatever God asks, whatever the cost, to show God you love Him? Your willingness to change for Him shows your faith in Him. This is repentance and God expects it of any who wants to go to Heaven. "I will shew thee my faith by my works."

-- Do you believe that Jesus Christ died to pay the debt for your sins? The Bible says that, "God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." There is no doubt that through Adam and through our own sin, we have put a price, a judgment, on our heads. A judgment that we can pay ourselves in Hell, or ask Jesus Christ to pay for us.

So what will you do? Will you live answering to no God and in the end reaping the eternal punishment? Or will you ask Jesus Christ to save you and put your trust in His blood, which was shed for you on the cross at Calvary? "With the mouth, confession is made unto salvation." If you choose Christ, you must pray to Him, confessing that you are a doomed sinner with no hope of Heaven without Him and Him alone. And you must ask Him with all of your heart to save you. And He will save you. Without a doubt.

What will your choice be? You only have two choices. Heaven or Hell. Friend, You must pray and ask Jesus Christ to forgive and save you. Just pray and give your heart, your life, and your eternity to Him.

So, if you prayed and asked Jesus to save you, what next?

First, you must find a good, Bible-believing, King James using, independent, fundamental Baptist Church. Once you find that Church, ask the Preacher what to do next. He should tell you to be baptized and start living for Jesus, the One who died for you. You should read your Bible, pray, and seek God's face every day.

Friend, that's our message to you. We urge you to trust in Jesus and be saved. If you are saved, we urge you to give your all for the Lord. After all, He gave His all for you.

Your servants,
The Lighthouse Quartet
